Our last post was before pictures of a clients home. Here are the after pictures. My hubby took all the pictures and cropped all of them for us. ( Thank you, my sweet man!) He worked his tail off so we could post them as soon as possible. Also, my daughter in law, Jennifer Taylor, helped with this project. We could not wait to show you them.
All of the furniture was reupholstered in Kravets fabrics.

Love what a little color will do!
Julie hand painted these candle sticks to give them an antique, European flare.
The sofa and pillows are from Kravets |
The pillow fabric is from Kravets. |
The rug is from Sewelsons. They are the most beautiful rugs we had ever seen!
This is the family room before. The client requested that we keep her leather sofas.
We added a Ralph Lauren chair which softens the leather sofas. The fabrics in the family room are also from Kravets.
These rooms are timeless and beautiful. They're tastefully designed with wonderful attention to detail. Your makeover of the family room is a wonderful example of incorporating new color and texture in a room without causing the existing furniture to appear dated or inappropriate. You've done a wonderful job combining both masculine and feminine elements to create a cohesive and inviting style in the room.

What a fabulous job. Your client has to be tickled pink. A really amazing transformation. You could sell draperies with the difference they made in that family room. Loved the little checked ottomans and the larger scaled coffee table to balance the large leather furniture. also the addition of all the fabrics take some of the shine off the leather.
ReplyDeleteThe living room and dining rooms are so beautiful. Such gorgeous fabrics and your table vignettes are so well done. Great job!

I love that you let your clients keep their favorite couches! I've always felt like designers need to step into the client's world, and not the other way around. You've done a beautiful job of exactly that!

Wonderfully done. The new sofa and chairs in the living room are stunning and that rug IS spectacular. I was especially taken with the touches of cobalt blue. Beautiful. As for the family room, the new coffee table is such a huge improvement. The scale is so much better and the fabric chair and the color you chose are a nice complement to the homeowner's leather pieces. So glad you linked this up to BeColorful's Motivated Monday.
