We would have a lot of wood details and it would be painted white. |
It would be casual and comfortable. |
We both love old pine pieces from the 1800's. |
Love antique flags. |
This is a perfect little hide away. |
Aheran architecture uses a lot of wood details in their work. |
Wouldn't you enjoy sitting here on a stool just chatting with the hostess while dinner is being prepared? |
A living room that is comfortable, but sophisticated. |
Don't forget we would be right on the ocean and yes, there would be a view. |
Loving that chair! Do you think swans and ducks are going to make a come back? |
We would include a Dutch door. Wish we could see it better, but you get the idea. |
This is perfect....a little get away patio where we could entertain and have a guest over before dinner. Martinis anyone? To visit Patrick's work go here Here is our challenge- If you have a blog, we would love to see a post on the homes that you would build and what they would look like. Thanks for visiting us, Danni and Julie |
What clean and comfortable spaces. And in response to the decoys, I have an old swan decoy I bought a looooong time ago that I still display on top of a china cabinet. If you love it, it's never wrong - well, almost never...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spaces! Love the woodwork especially the ceiling!

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty detailing, all the woodworking and details are to me what separtes a regular cookie cutter home from a truly gorgeous custom home.
ReplyDeleteLove their work and I am smitten with the crisp, serene and beautiful spaces. I would be cooking all the time if I had that gorgeous view!! Happy Friday, ladies ~

I wouldn't change a thing. Honestly, this has to be one of my favorite all-time houses, architecture and design. Wow. This is the stuff dreams are made of for me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday,
Karen
Patrick's office is right here in Boston. His work is impeccable. Every last detail is thought of and thought thru. Nothing like having a '57 Porsche Speedster to scoot down to to the corner market to pick up your groceries...
ReplyDeleteCheers,
John
Amazing architecture! Beautiful, classic rooms filled with personal collections and items. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Loi

ReplyDeleteYes...I could sit on one of the stools in the kitchen for hours...but you would have to steal me away from that fabulous porch first. Happy Saturday, dear friends.
