So how gorgeous is this? Julie went to a lavender farm with close friends. They had a beautiful patio where you could gather lavender and place them into bundles to take home. |
The beautiful flowers were a perfect place for an artist. We both would love to bring a canvas and brushes and paint these wonderful gardens. |
Its always fun to go with close friends on a day trip. Don't forget lunch... Of course, we have to eat! Ya know, its always about food.... |
This was a charming patio where you could look out onto the garden. You felt like you were in Europe. Yes, this is Julie taking it all in! Thanks for stopping by, Julie and Danni |
I have a dream of lots and lots of lavender at this old house! I could sit there all day with Julie!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day trip! Brings back memories of my Mom making lavender wands. And a fantasy of an old french farm house in the middle if a huge field of lavender.

I just bought 3 lavender plants. I hope they someday provide me with an unending supply of lavender. Is this farm in Santa Barbara county? I've seen a lavender farm in the Ojai area and it always tempts me.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely weekend.

Wonderful photos! I can almost smell the lavender through my computer screen! One can never have enough lavender.. it's supposed to be calming. Perhaps that's why women love it so much :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
