(Jill Brinson) They look great in a contemporary home and a country style setting. They seem to work well with both design styles. |

(William Hefner) I thought this image was so pretty...it reminded me of Penelope Bianchi's home. She has a wonderful view like this one..... you can see it here. |

I love it. Its decorative and you're right it goes in different styles. Goodluck!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.....I am with your clients, its a love for me too! In the right house, I think using steel windows looks amazing. Look forward to hearing more!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
If I could, I would rip every window out of my house and make them steel!!! They look amazing ... if your client has the house that can handle the style ... go for it!! xo
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that kitchen window... swoon!!!! xo
ReplyDeleteI love them and what I think is so interesting is that they had fallen out of favor for awhile but now seem to be the thing to do! I remember in the early 90's when people were taking them out (a major expense!), wonder if some are regretting this decision? M.
ReplyDeleteI love the look but they seem like they're for warm weather climates. It seems like they would transfer a lot of cold from the outside and even frost up on the metal portions if the weather was below freezing.
ReplyDeleteAs an alternative, I've considered painting my interior sashes and mullions black or dark gray to get the look but wonder if you have to do it through the whole house for a consistent look.
Steel windows and rustic beams ~ I'd be in heaven!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have steel windows but they don't really belong on a 200 plus house. I am simply in love with steel windows so I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
