Kitchen Remodel Before and After



I was in Orange County this weekend for a photo shoot.... 
We photographed a kitchen and family room I designed. 

My client lives about 2 hours from where I live so 
we had to go shopping for the last little details before the shoot... 

We shopped from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM...

We had a blast.....
My feet were so sore the next day...

My sweet client gave me this dome that's on the island....

I love it!

    Now that's a transformation! I love the marble backsplash and the black counter. Is that soapstone? The cabinets are great too. By the way, the accessories are a hit too...

    Fantastic! The kitchen is beautiful and your styling is great. I love those kind of crazy shopping days - especially when they reap the results as yours did. When I first got my Fitbit and was supposed to walk 10,000 steps a day I was skeptical I could pull that off... until one of those kind of all day shopping days and hit $15,000 without even trying!!! Good job :D

    Julie! This is so beautiful! The configuration of my kitchen is similar and I have black granite in the same place, marble on the island, and white cabinets. This is a timeless look and going into our new place I will do something similar ~ except I'm going all honed marble ;) I can't wait to see more pics!

    Is top on the island granite? It looks amazing whatever material it is made of. The color goes very nicely with the rest of the kitchen and the appliances. What brand are those and are they stainless steel?
