There is so much social media it's hard to keep up with it all.

But, they can be wonderful tools to explore different styles and give you an idea of what you like.

Halcyon House a Boutique Hotel

I know where I want to go on vacation! Halcyon House in Australia...designed by Anna Spiro.
Its a boutique hotel that just opened...
It's my kinda place!

It feels like a comfortable beach-ie home. Don't you love those lamps?

These are the chairs they used in the dining room...

Anna, is very creative and has a way with vignettes..

I love all of the vintage paintings and the lamp shade covered with fabric.

The walls are upholstered in this blue and white fabric...

Blue and White Decor and I'm Back!

I missed all of you!  
 I want to thank you for your prayers, emails and checking in on me...

With two parents being sick and a son who was in an accident...its been very hard to blog, but I'm learning to breath in between life's little surprises.. 

Here are a few things I learned the last couple of months...
Thank God for my hubby and good friends that support me no matter what I'm going through....

Always try to find the silver lining in every situation....
Find time to take care of yourself. 
That's a hard one! 
When your taking care of everyone else its hard to find time for yourself..

 Most important, you gotta laugh at yourself! 

 Yes, even though things are filled with hardship you gotta laugh at the situation... 

Erma Bombeck had a saying...

 "Laughter rises out of tragedy, when you need it the most, and rewards you for your courage."
