(Meridy King Interiors) I have had my work photographed many times and know how important it is to style it for the camera. What looks good for every day does not always look good in a photograph. |
(James Farmer) Here is an example where Emily has focused on the little details in a room. |
(C. Weaks interior) She has an eye for balance in a room. She knows how to capture the perfect image. |

These images are beautiful. I understand completely how a photographer see things through the lens, my son is a commercial photographer and we have long known of the painstaking efforts he makes to get the perfect shot.
ReplyDeleteThose are really great tips, especially the "fewer but fabulous accessories" Love her work!!

Great tips. I've noticed that good photos always have the camera placed lower than eye level. It seems to be about three feet off the ground. I think that really places the viewer in the scene, sitting at the table or in a chair viewing a room.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures! I only really started appreciating this talent for interior photography when I started my blog and tried to take some pictures of my own home to post. Photographers like this make it look easy, but it really is incredibly difficult to make interiors look great in a photo. x Sharon
