Girly and feminine is baaaaaaack.... (Tumbler, Eye Candy) |
Designer, Pamela Pierce added these soft colors with the natural linens. The pink and soft greens with a touch of purple creates a subdued girly feel. The room is simple, elegant and pretty. |
Perfect for spring. If this isn't screaming girly than we don't know what is! (Adore home , designed by Ana Antunes) |
Love, love this room. The wallpaper is amazing and we love how he layered patterns and colors. You're brilliant Grant! (Designer Grant Gibson) |

This cottage with the floral drapes and bright pink pillows is certainly girly. (Country style living, Mix and Chic blog) |

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog! I love yours and always want my interiors to be pretty. I am a big fan of Phoebe Howard's designs and she does pretty well. I think that husbands that won't do pretty, need educating. I asked my Aunt years ago when I started decorating my own house, if I could make a girly bedroom for my husband and me, and she told me that men love feminine bedrooms, it feels slightly illicit. I also think there is a difference between girly and cutesy. Girly is good, cutesy is horrific. How did you find me?
ReplyDeleteBest,

I like a touch of feminine...especially in the bedroom. But that last pink and gold photo...awesome..
ReplyDeleteI love the infusion of fuschia although I did not use it much for many years. The flowers make all the difference - an easy way to add the color or remove it when changing the look. I love the living room pics.
ReplyDeleteThese rooms are so romantic and beautiful especially the first one. I don't think my husband can live in rooms like these but hopefully, I will get my own space (read: mom cave) someday so I can make it all pretty and feminine.
ReplyDeleteI am now following your blog via Linky follower. Come by and follow me too, if you like.
Have a good weekend!

So pretty - that Pamela Pierce room must be one of my all time favorites! I have quite a few pink and feminine touches in our bedroom and bathroom and my husband doesn't seem to mind, or could be that he just hasn't noticed! X Sharon
ReplyDeleteI'm so into "pretty". When every room in my house is complete with a touch of girly-ness, I do believe I will be content. :)
