I took these photos of a mission in Santa Babara last weekend... I was drawn to the beauty and simplicity of it.... Even though it was built in the seventeen hundreds, the design style felt relevant for today.. |

I loved visiting the Missions in California when I lived in San Diego.

This reminds me of that old quote.. something about simplicity carried to an extreme becoming elegance. These are very restful in their pure simplicity-- both the mission and Lisa Jackson's designs.
