Blue and White Decor and I'm Back!

(Cacomma  Interiors)

I missed all of you!
I want to thank you for your prayers, emails and checking in on me...

With two parents being sick and a son who was in an accident...its been very hard to blog, but I'm learning to breath in between life's little surprises..

Here are a few things I learned the last couple of months...
Thank God for my hubby and good friends that support me no matter what I'm going through....
Love you guys!

Always try to find the silver lining in every situation....
Find time to take care of yourself.
That's a hard one!
When your taking care of everyone else its hard to find time for yourself..

Most important, you gotta laugh at yourself!

Yes, even though things are filled with hardship you gotta laugh at the situation...

Erma Bombeck had a saying...
(my Mother loved her)

"Laughter rises out of tragedy, when you need it the most, and rewards you for your courage."

I thought this was a perfect time to get back in the swing of things and join The Pink Pagodas blue and white party...

Have you noticed we are finally seeing blue and white in the stores?

 Hello Pottery Barn!
Its about time....

It seems like we, in blog-land, have been posting and talking about blue and white decor for so long....
Its nice to finally see it out and about.....

Ralph Lauren

Oh Ralph, you've done it again....

So pretty...
Look at the beautiful patina in the wood work.
I love the color of those doors.

I just took this fabric to my upholster to have a pillow made......its by Lee Jofa...

I can't wait to see it!

Can you guess who designed this room?

She has a way of weaving her name through out her designs...
Yup..

What do you think about green and blue together? I do think we will see more of it...

I just bought these Porcelain Jars for a client...

They are gorgeous!

 Do you like them?

Pastels and White Blog

I thought I would share with you some of the furniture I have been buying for a client.....

They aren't blue, but the room they're going into is...
I'll show pictures later.

This cabinet was used in our clients living room.

And this chandelier....it's so pretty in person!

Don't forget to check out the Pink Pagoda Blog here...
and thanks for being patient with me!
I can't wait to talk to you all.....

Julie

I too think we will be seeing touches of green with blue. Looking forward to seeing how your new items are going to look in your clients home.

  7. So wonderful to see you back, and in such gorgeous style. I am so sorry that you've struggled the past few months - my parents were both ill this time last year and it was the most difficult time I've been through in my life so far, so I can only imagine how challenged you've been. Hope you are on the other side now. Sending prayers and hugs. XO

  14. Julie, So glad you're back and I hope things are much better for you. I have loved blue and white for as long as I can remember and you're right….the store have had "nothing" blue for a long, long time. I have noticed it's coming into some stores like you said and I hope the trend continues. Thanks for the wonderful blue and white inspiration!

  20. Funny that while we don't know one another, I found myself missing you and wondering how you were doing. You are one of my daily reads in blog land. I sincerely hope a speedy recovery for your son, and that your folks are doing better themselves. Take care of one another, and of course do take time for yourself. As a caregiver, you must be able to take care of your needs ( no matter how small) so that you can be there for those who need you. Be well.....
