Saying Goodbye

Its been a while since we've chit chatted..so let me catch ya up on whats been going on...I went to Round Top Texas for 5 days and had a wonderful time... but...

The day after I arrived in Texas I found out my mom died.

She was only 78 and died 7 months after my dad died last July.

She was my best friend and she was a loving person who made everyone feel comfortable.

She always found something nice to say to every person who came in contact with her.

She had a knack of making a person feel good.

She also taught me to laugh at myself and find the humor in all things, even the hard things we go through in life.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her..

I love you mom!

  9. Julie, I'm so so sorry for you. That was like a punch in the stomach to read, and I can't even imagine how hard it s for you. You and I lost our first parents around the same time, and the feeling is still so raw and painful every day. The kind of blow you just got, well, I din't know if I could handle it. But the first thing I thought was they must have had a truly beautiful relationship. I've heard of very loving couples who just can't live without each other. I wish there was some comfort we could offer you. I do know you never really say goodbye - love doesn't end, and you were (are) obviously much loved. Take care my friend,
    Stacy

  12. Oh Julie, this is terrible and I am so sorry that she is gone. My you've had a rough year my friend! I am heart sick for you and know how you feel. Both my parents are gone and it is a hole that will never be filled. I wish I could give you a big hug, and tell you it'll be ok. You know it will, but that doesn't help how you feel today. Wishing you and your family peace. xo Nancy
