Stonehaus Winery

Hello there....
Hope you had a great weekend....
I've been busy working on a couple of projects and working on the One Room Challenge....Let me tell you...sometimes it is a challenge to find the time to decorate my own home ...but, I always can find time to stop and meet a friend for coffee....

Sharon, who has a blog called Novara Way had mentioned that I should stop over at this charming little place called Stonehaus Winery...
Its a great place to meet with friends for coffee or wine in the evening..

 Stonehaus is close by in the middle of  Westlake Village, but it has a way of making you feel like your up the coast in Paso Robles.

They had decorated the place with pumpkins and Fall flowers...
It was very  relaxing and pretty..

This was a cute idea for dogs...

I loved this wall with all of the baskets filled with plants and flowers...

White Pumkins

I was taking to a friend the other day and she had  mentioned that Christmas was only 10 weeks away.....Just the thought of it was so overwhelming...

Can you believe it....
We'll be buying Christmas trees soon and decorating the house for the holidays...

I thought about how easy it is to decorate for Fall..

I always buy white pumpkins and I love them with fresh flowers...they look great with any color too.

Have any of you started thinking about the holidays and buying Christmas presents yet?

A Fall Table and White Pumpkins

I put this little arrangement together to show you what my daughter and I have been up to..

We have been making these silverware holders for our flea boutique that's in November...

It's been a fun project for my daughter and I to do together.

They're all a tad different...

We took antique round appliques and we put them on the front....

Were selling these runners too.. 

I love using Cinderella white pumpkins for a Fall table-scape.... 

White pumpkins can be mixed with so many different things and look great....

The roses are from my garden, but it would be gorgeous with orange and yellow roses too. 

I also like using black and white plates...

They can be mixed with so many different elements and colors...

It would of been nice if I would of remembered the candle!


 Oh Well!

I've been so busy this week getting ready for our boutique and I have had a lot of last minute details on clients homes.....

I know...

I have to get pictures to show you...

I'm trying!

 YA...ya... ya....

I always think of Fall as a time of pause...

getting us ready for Winter and the holidays! 

But I'm looking forward to soups and stews.....

and all the goodies that go with Fall...

The home of Tess and Hans Nelman reminded me of Fall...

Its sophisticated and cozy and has a warm feeling...

What I love about Fall....

There has been a feeling of change in the air, an excitement, a brisk feeling as you step out side. 

 

When the rest of the country is experiencing Fall, Southern California is still in the Summer mode.
 It takes a little longer for us Callies to receive Fall. 

  Autumn mornings and falling leaves.

 Crisp mornings and leafless trees.

 Beautiful colors cover the streets.

Things I love about Fall....
