A Fall Table and White Pumpkins

I put this little arrangement together to show you what my daughter and I have been up to..

We have been making these silverware holders for our flea boutique that's in November...

It's been a fun project for my daughter and I to do together.

They're all a tad different...

We took antique round appliques and we put them on the front....

Were selling these runners too..

I love using Cinderella white pumpkins for a Fall table-scape....

White pumpkins can be mixed with so many different things and look great....

The roses are from my garden, but it would be gorgeous with orange and yellow roses too.

I also like using black and white plates...

They can be mixed with so many different elements and colors...

It would of been nice if I would of remembered the candle!

 Oh Well!

I've been so busy this week getting ready for our boutique and I have had a lot of last minute details on clients homes.....

I know...

I have to get pictures to show you...

I'm trying!

 YA...ya... ya....

Less lip and more action!

Right!

Plates and a Bit Eclectic

Do you remember those black and white plates I found?
Well, I found a spot in my kitchen for them...
Not the best place for taking pictures...

But..
so many of you wanted to see where I was going to hang them....

I had friends over for dinner and bought these pretty Sun flowers and put them in one of my jars......

I was going through my files and found this picture of my dinning room table all spiffed up for a dinner party....

I know this picture is a little out of left field...

It was taken last year in October...

I also found this image of my blue and white pot with hydrangeas...

One of my favorite flowers...

Who knows when it was taken...

It could of been last summer...
Like I said...

This post is a little bit eclectic...

Displaying Black and White Plates..

I found these beautiful antique plates at an estate sale....

The black and gray colors pool together looking like soft water colors...

I fell in love with them....
aren't they gorgeous?

Wouldn't they look great in a black and white kitchen

Black and White Decor, like an old Hollywood Movie

There is something about black and white that is simple, but elegant.  Classic, clean, unquestionably sophisticated and elegant. Like an old Hollywood movie.
(Designed by Jennifer Ferreira)

We love old black and white movies. They are classic, like Katherine Hepburn dressed so  beautifully in Raising Baby.  Could she be talking to Cary Grant?  Notice the French bench in the back ground. This could fit right into a room designed for today.

Imagine Gloria Swanson gracefully and elegantly walking down these stairs with her Rolls Royce waiting for her.
(Designed by Lichfield).

Black and white decor reminds us of Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn.

Cary Grant playing the piano while Katherine looking into his eyes with her long silk dress on and her fur shawl wrapped around her shoulders.
So sophisticated!

The black and silver combo is also very reminiscent of old  Hollywood.
What movie could you imagine this would
have been in?

(Jamie Herzlinger)

Can't you see Marilyn Monro slipping on her white robe with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon dressed up in women' s clothing?
Remember the movie, "Some like it Hot"?
The floor and the movie, true classics..

( Jamie Herzlinger)

The black painted wood work certainly makes a statement.
Like a man dressed in a black tie and suit. Hmmm, Rock Hudson?
