I have been attracted to vintage bohemian style all my life and its a style I never get sick of....

My daughter has a love for it also...
I guess we are hippies at heart...

Here are some of my fun things I have found...

This box was a HomeGoods find, but it was perfect for my tray... 

I couldn't decide which image I liked so I put all of them up... 

The belts are so cool...
The buckles are real silver...
The natural belt to the right is a wrap belt and it looks like it could be from the Ralph Lauren collection..

The scarf is drop dead gorgeous... 

I'm not sure what I'm going to wear the necklace with, but I fell in love with it...
Maybe I'll put it in a bowl for display..

I found two of these lamps...

They have to go to the lamp store for harps...

I love finding things that you don't see everyday...

Those are the items that make your home look unique and gives it a collected look...

Summerland and a Birthday Lunch

I just celebrated my birthday with my daughter and daughter-in-law up in Summerland.  

We visited some of the cute little shops...
This was at Botanik, one of my favorites..



 

We also went to an area called Santa Clause Lane and had lunch... 

I loved these big pots... 





 

 We had lunch at the cutest restaurant...

It was the perfect place to eat with my grand-daughter...

 She was entertained by the birds and had fun playing in the water fountain...

Isn't she cute? 

It was so relaxing sitting out in the garden and enjoying the day...

My daughter is 4 months pregnant and she is just starting to show...... 

There's nothing better than a day with the girls!

Model Homes in Orange County and Shopping

I went through some model homes
while I was in Orange County ....
   
One of my favorite things to do...

They had some great ideas...

 This was one large ottoman.. 

The backyards were small, but great for entertaining... 

I love this idea of a step down seating area...

This was a courtyard in the center of the house...

Ya know...
 I'm not a fan of flat screens on the wall...

Someone has got to design a television that looks pretty...

It's not just about function...

I'm sure my husband will be rolling his eyes over this one... 

While I was shopping in Orange county I saw this  adorable chair at Crate and Barrel...
I believe they were $399.00 each.

I like the gray and white chair better...

 

It was fun to see my sons beer at the market in Orange County...
I'm sure people were wondering why this crazy women was taking pictures of beer and all excited about it...
It all comes down to one thing...

Clients Family Room

Winter finally hit Southern California ...
Its been raining cat and dogs and its cold!  
 OK...

 So.... I'm a little spoiled....

I don't know what cold really is...
 huh!


You can see be our photo shoot last week that we "Southern Californians" really hadn't seen a winter until now...

We needed rain so bad!


This is the family room I designed in Orange County. 


I took these with my Galaxy Note phone.... 
The images are great..... 

My children tease me because the phone is so big....
but my pictures are better than theirs! 


 I can't wait to see the professional pictures...

I love this shot....

I like a little color with gray..


Its happy.... 

We bought the book-shelve from Restoration Hardware....

A lot of you emailed me and wanted to know what the counter tops were made of......

The black is made out of quarts and the island is a marble...

Sorry I didn't email you back sooner...
