Before and after pictures of a clients home.

Our last post was before pictures of a clients home. Here are the after pictures.  My hubby took all the pictures and cropped all of them for us. ( Thank you, my sweet man!)  He worked his tail off so we could post them as soon as possible. Also, my daughter in law, Jennifer Taylor, helped with this project. We could not wait to show you them.

All of the furniture was reupholstered in Kravets fabrics.

This is the room before.

Love what a little color will do!

Julie hand painted these candle sticks to give them an antique, European flare.

The sofa and pillows are from Kravets

The pillow fabric is from Kravets.

The rug is from Sewelsons. They are the most beautiful rugs we had ever seen!

This is the family room before. The client requested that we keep her leather sofas.

We added a Ralph Lauren chair which softens the leather sofas. The fabrics in the family room are also from Kravets.

Personal Work- Rosewood

We love before and after pictures. It is so fun to look at them on other blogs. We are going to show you some pictures of a clients home and some of the fabrics that were used.  Hopefully next week we will be able to show you the after pictures.

We were asked to keep the white carpet and yellow walls.

They had recently purchased the coffee table and the dinning room table.

This is one of the Kravets fabric we chose for some of the pillows.

We also used Kravets fabrics on the sofa.

Kathleen clements design

We thought you would enjoy seeing  Kathleen Clements design work.  She has a fun funky style, but can also adapt her self to a Traditional feel.  Look how different she designed each of these homes. She successfully captured the personality of the home owner.

This Santa Monica loft represents a sophisticated beach life style.

We love the mix of the contemporary chairs and the antique table.  Look at the pictures of the surfers hanging on the wall.

Here she has designed a sophisticated home with contemporary charm.

We love this timeless Georgian style.

The botanical s  on the wall are lovely.

Marshall Watson's guest quarters

Designer, Marshall Watson, creates spaces that are elegant, but comfortable. His Guest quarters, in both Utah and Napa Valley, would make any guest feel at home.

Don't you think this dog goes well with the interiors? He makes a great house ornament!

Isn't the carved headboard beautiful?

The white plates and blue accents give this space a calming environment.

We would love to have dinner out on this patio!

If you were to design a guesthouse for your family and closest friends how would you design it? We would want our guesthouse to reflect the comfortable living of Southern California. It would be a collection of contemporary and bohemian flare!

Designer Tim Clarke

We are packing our bags and getting ready for vacation. Tim Clarke's work made us feel like we were already there!

Hopefully our hotel room looks like this..

If it does, we might not come home.

Simi Valley Antiquing

We have been friends for over 20 years. We have shared so many of life's journeys, children, family, and of course, artistic pursuits! It is rare to have good friends you can count on. We consider ourselves blessed in many ways and are thankful to be able to work with each other and have a good time! Here is a glimpse of our adventure at the Simi Valley antique stores...

This is at the Aubergine Emporium. They had an eclectic mix of antiques and fun finds.

Danni ended up buying this table for her window seat in her living room. We loved the mix of wicker and wood. Danni also bought architectural pieces for her bookshelves, in other words, Danni bought the store out! A glimpse of her living room will be posted soon!

This is The Shop Around the Corner (literally!). When first walking in you see a romantic collection of white linens.

before and after

Here is a glimpse of our client, April's recent backyard installation. We reupholstered the patio furniture and added colorful, bohemian-esq pillows. New accessories where added as well. Now our client is ready for a party!

Even the hidden side yard makes for a restful getaway!

Wouldn't this be a great place to relax and read a book?

What a perfect setting for that lovely summer outdoor dinner and entertaining!

Aprils guests will not want to leave, especially if she ever really opens the wine bottle!
