I'm always attracted to a style I call "simple elegance"....
It is a creative space that makes a statement with simple objects.

wouldn't that be fun though....OK back to talking....   
Most designers have to be creative with the budget their working with.

 Simple but elegant can be incorporated into any budget.

  1. Agree sometimes even the most simple rooms can be supremely elegant. I think its all in how its put together via texture and/or color. Lovely examples.

  5. oh yes. all of these spaces make my heart pound with their warmth and low contrast. it's how i would like my whole home to feel, and simplicity can take time to achieve!

  18. ohhhh, just finding this post i missed and wanted to say YES, these examples in particular highlight elegant simplicity .

    a current client has the budget to select pieces from gregorius pineo, a line i will admit to not being familiar with. now i wish my own home could welcome some of their lovely pieces.

    thanks for the introduction of briggs edward solomon, a firm i was unaware of and whose sensibility i adore
