Noir and CFC

I save pictures when I recognize pieces of furniture from companies that I like.
That way I can show clients what they look like in a room...

(Blackband Interiors)

I've used  Noir and C.F.C.
They are sister companies and C.F.C. does custom work.

(Dresser C.F.C, Houzz)

(Side table Noir, coffee table C.F.C. and Houzz)

I went to C.F.Cs  warehouse and took some pictures of their products..

They were working on this dresser and it really looked like an old piece.

I love the paint effect of this dresser.

They are going to turn this space into a showroom...its probably done by now.

I'm using this table in a clients home, its from C.F.C.

I wish I had a use for this piece...it was to big...but I loved it! If you want to take a peek at the products go here

Vintage Bamboo Table and Chairs

I found such a great table and chairs for my kitchen at an Estate sale...
I was so excited...
I've been looking for a set like this for a long time...

I don't know if any of you have ever been to an estate sale, but you have to be on your toes....
I got up at 5 in the morning to be at this sale that started at 8.
I was the 4th person in line and when the door opened they let 10 of us in at at a time....

People ran into the house and started grabbing things they wanted...

There is no time to think about what you want or you lose...in other words....
if you snooze you loose!

I'm having new chair pads made...out of this fabric below.

The fabric is from Kravet.

This is going to be a little pillow for the backs...

I was really happy to see this on One Kings Lane...I paid less for the whole set...

Talking about One Kings Lane...
I saw this settee and I thought it would look great with the pieces below...
It just needs some pink pillows and it would look so pretty!
Check it out here...

love this..you can find it here

Go take a peek...they have some great things.. here.

My hubby and I went to the beach the other night to look at the waves...they were so big!
I was actually surprised to see so many people there gawking at the waves......
See those little dots near the wave...those are surfers. The waves were 13 to 15 feet...
It was amazing!

What wasn't amazing was that I stepped in dog poop, and boy! did we have a long ride home!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for being so patient while I was going threw such a hard time....
We had my Dads memorial and were able to celebrate his life with family and friends...
Thanks
Julie

Client Up-Date

I've been working with a client who has become a friend that I truly respect....

When your working with clients in such a personal way......

you get to know them, their likes and dislikes...
its easy to bond and develop friendships...

I have been very blessed to work with some wonderful women.

This is just a sneak peak of what I have been up-to and I wanted to show you the pillows that were made for my clients sofa...

We had to put this project on hold for a short time and  we are now just finishing it up...

The before picture of the cabinet in her living room.

This is the after picture and of course it needs to be painted...
We will paint it white...glass will be put into the upper cabinet...

The before picture of the fireplace.

This also will be painted white...

We added wainscoting in the room and in the dinning room...

She decided to take my advise and  put in wood floors which we will start in  January.

If you want to see some of the before pictures go here

Thanks for stopping by...

Some of the bloggers that went to High Point are...  Velvet and Linen, Lisa Mende, Nest by Tamara,  and  Quintessence Blog.
These are some of the highlights from the web...

Brook from Velvet and Linen took this photo of this great ottoman by Pearson Furniture.
It looks like this shape is very strong for next year.

A feel of the orient was present, these jars from Pearson.

Blue is still big!

Beacon Hill has created a new partnership with Sachin and Babi Ahkiwalia, founders of Ankasa Iconic to bring their exquisite vision to Beacon Hill.

Its a beautiful line of fabric.

I'm happy to see this style of chair at High Point, love it!

A little secret....Sit in this style of chair before buying as a dinning room chair.
If the slates are flat it can be comfortable.

I wanted to buy some for my dinning room table and didn't because the slates in the back were round and not real comfy..

Blue pottery is still the thing....Tina over at The Enchanted Home carries these beauties on her on-line store.
