Personal update.

Do you remember the song by the Byrds, Turn, Turn Turn? There is a time for everything and a season for everything under heaven.

A time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak...(Ecc3:7)

We all go through personal struggles at one time or another. As family and friends we hold each other up through the trials in our lives. That is what life is all about. To be there for one another and to serve each other with love.

Danni is going through a divorce and as some of you know, it is so emotional and draining.

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.  My dear friend, I am always here for you.

  6. I am sorry to hear it. I hope she knows she has lots of support out here in blogland and she is lucky to have you, Julie as her friend. The lyrics of that song are so poignant. I would imagine divorce is traumatic even when its a good idea. Just that sudden shift in your life has to be jolting. I do believe God doesnt give us anything we cannot handle. Best of luck to Danni and hope that each day things might get a little easier and hope there is laughter and smiles coming her way very soon.

  7. Oh Julie, I am so sorry to hear this news. And so glad that Danni has you as a confidant and dear friend. I guess we all have friends who have gone through this, or have gone through it ourselves, and it looks so hard. I am thinking of her, and you, because as her friend I'm sure it is sad and hard for you, too. God bless,
    Stacy

  12. Julie,

Gosh.. I have tears in my eyes.

This is so beautifully written. Danni is fortunate to have your unconditional friendship and support to help see her through this stressful ordeal. It must be terribly draining for you as well. Life is full of side curves that seem to hit us like a brick. Resilience is so important ~ looking forward and living in the moment.

    Take care,

  27. Dear Danni ...my sincerest feeling go out to you as I am in the same boat at the moment and it is increadiably hard. Some days it looks like there will never be light again but trust me I know that there will be. I could never imagine how hard it would be to loose part of my extended family, friends and my home and most of all my garden that I have put so much into. Please know that you are not alone and this wonderful post that your dear friend wrote shows such love and support. All the little bits help in the end to pull us through! I pray for strengh and guidance. be kind to yourself and take the best care you can.

    Hugs
