Fabric Love....

We have been pulling together fabrics for several jobs. Here is one of three groupings of fabrics we are considering to use for a living room and dinning room.  The colors we are working with are  taupe-grayish color walls and carpet, an ivory sofa and chairs, which we are still looking for. The small gray and white fabric is already on the dinning room chairs and the client wants to keep that fabric.
This is one group of fabrics.

Out of the 3 groups- which one do you like best?

This is # 2 pick.
Most of  the fabrics are from Kravets.

This is #3 pick.
Love a little purple thrown into the mix. All of the floral prints will be on pillows except for the raindrop pattern. We are waiting for more samples from Kravets so we might end up with something completely different.

So sorry we missed a post. We might be a little late here and there, but we will try our best. We will also try to say hello on your blogs. We have enjoyed so many friendships out in blog-land. We have a lot going on right now, but we will be back into our normal routine soon.

  1. They are all beautiful, but I am leaning towards the 1st group. I love the gentleness and subtlety of the palette. x Sharon

  2. I love all three. Each main accent fabric gives a totally different feel to the palette. My favorite about all three is the main accent fabric has both warm and cool tones so you are not limited in where you can take the room! Great job. M.

  3. I'm sure you could guess my choice...the first group! :) The large floral is a great compliment to the raindrop.

  4. Love all of them, but I think I like the first one best. I'm kind of a neutrals on upholstery kind of person and that silvery gray is speaking to me.

  5. Hi Julie & Danni,
I like something from each grouping. The large print fabric samples are each wonderful. The last one is fun and fresh. I will be interested to know what taupe/gray paint color you choose. I am currently searching for a taupe/gray color for my family room. Paint is challenging.
Your blog friends understand occasional absence! :-)

  6. I would like to add the pop of color, it is not too too bold, just enough though to shine!

  11. I'm with Debra, I absolutely love #2. I've used that oversize floral on a project and it's stunning. The companion fabrics you've selected for it are perfect, too!

  12. Fabulous options. Lucky clients :-) I love the first group and the second one. Can't decide between the two. Why not let you clients see all three options? If your clients are not the sort to be overwhelmed.

  13. The first group has a quiet sophistication about it. The second group -- well, I just discarded that floral out of my own group. (That stem looks like a snake....) The third group is WOW! I love the bright and cheery purple and pink in the floral.

  14. Overall, I like the first group the most, but I find myself wanting to bring in just a hint of soft green and maybe a fabric with some sheen in it.

I can relate to trying to keep up a regular posting schedule. Sally and I are quite busy these days and it's difficult to do. Work and clients will always come first...

    Cheers,

  15. I love all of hem, but I think I like 33 the best because of the pop of purple. So current and beautiful! PS - totally understand the stress of being too busy - take care of yourself first!

  16. They are all pretty but my most favorite is #3! The pop of purple are fun and I like that it make a bolder statement than the other two.

No worries, just blog whenever you can. We will always be here. :)

  17. Beautiful fabrics!!!!! Really into the grays lately, beautiful combinations you came up with. No worries about sporadic postings...such is the ebbs and flows of blogging, we all go through them and I think summer by nature must make a lot of us this way.....no ones going anywhere:)

  21. That's hard, they're all absolutely gorgeous. I'm most torn between #2 and #3... If I were the client, I'd die over any of them though.
